Jerstad-Agerholm Jazz Ensemble Earns Top Honors

From Racine Unified:

On Saturday May 22, the Jerstad-Agerholm Jazz Ensemble took part in a jazz contest as part of the "Music in the Parks" festival held at Six Flags Great America. In the Middle School Class AA Division, Jerstad came in first place with a rating of excellent. 

In the open class division, competing against all middle school and junior high jazz ensembles, Jerstad again took top honors, with a first place score of 86.5. This is the fourth time in five years Jerstad has taken top honors. The jazz ensemble members celebrated their victory by spending the day at Six Flags Great America. The Jerstad-Agerholm Jazz Ensemble is directed by Mr. David Kapralian.
